Build your dream vacation home with this Hungarian company – PHOTOS

Hello Wood is a Hungarian architect and build studio based in Budapest which will send you the parts to your very own dream vacation home. All you need is a hammer and a few nails, and you will be able to build it on your own.

The company’s newest product, the “Kabinka“, is the perfect mixture of the tiny house and the outdoor trends. The cabin’s parts and an instruction manual are delivered to your doorstep in a box, all you have to do is assemble it in your desired location, whether it be your backyard or perhaps the woods, reported Travel + Leisure.

If you do not feel up for the task of putting it together yourself, the company will help you find on-site help for the building.

“Be it a weekend retreat or private workstation, you can’t go wrong with our cabin design. While designing our newest product, we focused on creating a compact yet versatile space that comes with an affordable price tag. Tiny house movement has been growing rapidly for the past years and if you prioritize sustainable living, simple and compact lifestyle then this cabin is for you,” their website explained.

There are four different sizes to choose from: 12 sqm, 14.9 sqm, 17.3 sqm, and 20 sqm plus a 9.6 sqm terrace. You can fit in a kitchenette, a stove, a desk, and a couch in all the sizes, but what you put in it is for you to decide.

There are extras you can choose from to add to your cabin, such as bathrooms, extra partitions, electrical work, and so on.

The reason why you can fit so many things in even the smallest module is that when designing the cabins, the company paid attention to every millimetre, not letting any of it go to waste.

The buildings are ideal and can withstand weather from spring through fall; however, harsh, cold winter months may not be good for them.

  1. Dream Home? Really? Looks like a nightmare to me……NO THANKS! I could do better than that with fixing up an old wine house or seasonal house. Save your money and do the environment a favour and restore an existing property.
